About
Olu Akenjoye was a traditional ruler of the Kingdom of Warri among the Itsekiri people of present-day Delta State, Nigeria. According to Wikipedia, he is recorded as the 11th Olu of Warri (not the 12th), with a reign active from 1701 to 1709, succeeding his father Olu Abejoye (the 10th Olu). He took the regnal title Ogiame Sebastian II, reflecting the Warri royal house's long-standing Portuguese Catholic connections, and was succeeded by his son Olu Omagboye (Miguel), who became the 12th Olu.
