About

Osei I, also known as Osai, served as the fourth Obi of the Aboh Kingdom, a historic Ukwuani state in present-day Delta State, Nigeria. He was the son of Ezebue I, the third Obi, and inherited the throne around 1565. His reign fell during a formative period of the kingdom's expansion along the lower Niger River. Little is recorded of his specific actions, but his rule bridged the early lineage and helped consolidate the nascent monarchy.
