Aninwike I held the title of Obi of Ogwashi-Uku, a traditional monarch of the Enuani (Anioma) people in present-day Delta State, Nigeria. He was the seventh ruler in the royal lineage that traces its origin to Ogwashi, the founder of the kingdom. Scant historical documentation survives about his personal reign, placing him in the formative era of the Ogwashi-Uku monarchy. The position of Obi remains a central cultural and political institution among the Anioma communities.
